I had a few shots I loved that turned out awesome and really made me go…” oh wow.. I love that one…”

my little guy… is 2. Cleopatra Photography {Cleopatra’s Heart} Boston Mass two year old children photographer Ashley Nardello

This little boy came into my life, and changed it forever… he forever will steal my heart with his smile…. I cant help but smile at him… even when he is being bad… its almost too cute to believe…

He is a talker. He speaks in full sentences and has for months already… He sings He dances, he plays the drums…

He is my little man… my Puffin.. my G… my G-man… my Vanni… my Guy-Guy…. he is my heart.

Two years have flown by… I remember looking at him when he came out and thinking… wow… here he is… I have wanted you my whole entire life, and here you are.

One day all of the nights, and time I spend away from my kids will be worth the effort. That thought defines me, and I have never been more serious about anything.

I had an amazing day with my little guy… we played and laughed and spent time outside enjoying the fall weather… he loved his cake and tacos!

enjoy a few snapshots of Giovanni…

Baby Gi-Gi ‘s fall photography session – Cleopatra Photography {children} Boston and Central Mass Children’s Photography at Moore State Park by Ashley Nardello

I am in love with all things fall. The crsip air, wearing sweaters, the leaves changing, the hot cocoa and the smell of fires burning in the neighborhood, are all just a few reasons why…oh and Pumkpin white chocolate latte I love you!

anyways… I was excited we had a really warm day to take some pictures at the park… it was kind of windy yes… but by the end of the session the sweaters were coming off…

I met Baby Giana and her mommy and daddy at the park bright and early and off we went! I noticed a long walkway/trail covered in leaves that offered an awesome view full of bright yellow highlights…

A typical two year old Little Gi Gi made me work for these smiles! but she did amazing! A lot happens in a short amount of time=)

I love the pic of her throwing the leaves and also the pouty black and white image…

Thank you Becky for contacting me I hope we get to see each other soon!

In to the woods….for an engagement session – Cleopatra Photography {you & me} Boston Massachusetts Engagement Photography, Central Mass and Worcester Engagement Photography by Ashley Nardello

Hi Everyone!

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to meet an adorable couple named Renee and Clint. When Renee contacted me she was ecstatic about her engagement and wanted to get amazing pictures to commemorate their love! They had a super cute idea too so I was excited to meet them as well….. Since their wedding was being held outdoors, they wanted to incorporate that into the session. Not only that but the trails we walked were one of the places their love began to take shape.

We also hit up their Gym to take some pictures. Also one of the places where they spent nights after work developing an amazing friendship, that clearly led to love!

I laughed so hard with Renee about the fact that, she first met Clint at work… but after learning he went to the “OLD Iron Gym” SHE used the old…

I would love to work out, I just need someone to show me what I am doing…(in so many words) wink wink….

Fast Forward to 6 or 7 years later and they have developed an amazing relationship….. These two are so excited to be getting married …

They came to their session prepared!!! Renee had two blankets and props all ready to go in her bag! ( I loved this because they were ready to go and had what they needed to be comfy and what matched their outfits right at their fingertips) Way to be prepared Renee!

So anyways, we went to this area behind the water treatment plant in the town of Wareham… Actually South of Boston closer to Plymouth Mass… but to all the out-of- town-ers… “Outside of Boston”

I had a great time with You guys Renee and Clint! We got some awesome shots!  I Can’t wait to do it again at the wedding next year you guys!

Meet Jackson… Cleopatra Photography {Newborns} Newborn photography Boston Massachusetts and Newborn Photography by Ashley Nardello

Hello everyone! SOOOO here I am with Mr. Jackson. aka Jax as I like to call him…

If you follow me regularly you know that I usually don’t name my babies.. after much consideration I thought… why not? I am not using any last names or identifying personal info.

After all, I am trying to give you all a personal look at my work and in to my life.

You know me, you know my kids, and now you will also “know” my clients.

So having moved back to the Boston area recently, I have been able to reconnect with people who are people I haven’t seen in yeaaarrrrs  (a decade plus)

Jackson’s Mommy and I know each other from High school, Good old Marlboro High. She is actually really good friends with my sister – in – law and they have kept in touch all these years! Not to mention my husband used to play baseball with her husband and have known each other since they were pitcher and catcher…

It’s so crazy being back for all of those reasons! Before we  know it Jackson will be 2 and Giovanni will be 4,  and they will be playing together growing up… continuing on like Nick and Chris.

So When Renee contacted me about having pics done of their little guy, I was so happy to oblige.

Jackson came into this world with a bang being born after an emergency C-section… according to mommy the nurses called him “lucky” … I’d say so….  having a knot in the umbilical cord and having it wrapped around his neck… lets just say that it made for an eventful arrival said mommy…

let me tell you Jackson is a fighter! He made me and mommy and daddy work for the goods! but we got them…

ok so here we go!

When I got to their house the first thing I noticed was that they had a wheel barrel in the back yard that said Jackson on it! it helps to be observant hehehe…

so being that the high today was 65 degrees… I had some reservations about having him outside… but he did great.

Enjoy the time I spent with Jackson…

mommy kept calling me his girlfriend lol… We laughed so hard because it was hilarious how he couldn’t take his eyes off of me… lol this little observant guy definitely has a place in my heart!

Renee and Nick congrats on the birth of your little man…

here are some of his images from today…

A baby brother for M… Cleopatra Photography – Boston Mass Newborn Photography

ok, so lets just start by saying what an amazing set of friends E has! They (the girls from her work) contacted me asking about gift certificates for their GF who was about to have a baby “any day now”. I was super excited to be a part of such an awesome gift! ahhh so adoreable! and you all know I love my newborn sessions!

Sure enough she did have that baby within a week, she contacted me and here we are… Meet Mr. W.

he was a precious little guy! not  4 lbs little but… little… he was WIDE awake for the majority of the session… but when we got him as relaxed as can be….

he finally gave in and gave up the goods!!!!

I love my job.. have I mentioned that before???? 😉

So anyways… this was an adoreable family… they had an amzing yard, and an awesome old school camaro. I’m always up for anything, so yeah….we used that too!!

I will never forget Mr. M…. He was just such a ham in the most amazing way! I mean at every turn, he was showing me just how good he was at “modeling”.

But it was all so natural…. he genuinely wanted to laugh and jump and play… and he wasn’t scared of me or the camera and all my crazy antics getting him to laugh

and interact with his new “gift”,  baby brother W….

I love the images of them together… I could have snapped all day with these two…

Thank you K and E for inviting me into your home, and introducing me to your amazing boys…. I hope to see you again in the future! Best of Luck!!!

ok everyone…enjoy a piece of their memories…

Where have you been!? Cleopatra Photography update! Central Massachusetts Photography

oh my goshhhhhh! So I just wrote a super long blog post, went to save it and BOOM.. something went wrong, and here I am with no draft!

URGGG… so anyways, here is a recap of the last post!

ok so how I have missed blogging! I just went on a little hiatus trying to get my family ready.. ready for what?

Oh a cross-country move that’s all!

YUP we did it! we finally made the move and are here back home (about 30 miles south of Boston)

It’s funny how when your younger you want to leave home, and as you age, no place feels like “home”

After being gone for ten years…we were done, and it was definitely time for a change.

I learned so much over the past ten years. I suffered so many hardships, and yet I REFUSE TO GIVE UP.

I have changed my life so much in the past 6 months its crazy! I started cross-fit and love it… yup I drank the kool-aid… To anyone who puts down the style or technique… don’t be ignorant!!! you can talk to me when you come to my gym…

There is no Pilates, yoga or zumba there… oh and no mirrors….sorry. 🙂 I kid…

anyways

I have lost 35 pounds since January… and almost 70# since I had my son. I feel like a whole new person…I am grateful very grateful… I did this for me, not because I wanted to make someone else happy… it was time for a change and I did it.

Earlier this year, I lost something that I thought meant the world to me, and its funny how now 6 months with it gone… I realized how I didn’t lose it at all.. I left it behind.

So here is to new beginnings…

I have had tons going on, and lots of photos to post during these past 90 days, but I am not going to blog each session separately… I know, I know…

Hey if you want to see all the sneak peeks go check out my Facebook page!

I also am running monthly FREE session give-aways!  YUP FREE to fans (I am using random.org all you have to do is like and comment to be entered!)

Thank you to all my current fans (all 270 of you) for your continued support of my dream. I can’t wait to turn heads in CENTRAL MASS and NEW ENGLAND!

Hi Everyone!

The day of the super bowl,

I ran out and met the S family at Lakes Park for a mini session! What a great time! Little Miss E is growing so quickly.

I was really happy when her mommy contacted me for this family session…

Miss E is already 19 months! Hard to believe that the last time I saw her, she was just 7 days old! WOW

Anyhow… enjoy a few pics from their day!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday and is relaxing! The holidays are draining! BUT! I must say I love the memories they create… moments…. pieces of our history..
