An awesome affair at the Edison-Ford Winter Estates… M and A, said “i do”… Cleopatra Photography {i do} Boston Mass and destination wedding Photographer Ashley Nardello

Hi Everyone!!!! Ok so catching up on Blogs these days isn’t an easy task! ahhh can you say busy!…. We have been editing like crazy, designing like crazy, and shooting like crazy….

Oh not to mention, we are learning the ins and outs of CS5 (amazing product btw…)

any who… I met M at the Indigo Hotel in Downtown Fort Myers to get some shots of her getting ready and hanging with her girls before the big event!  after getting ready the Bride and her Dad got into the model T and headed toward the location.

A location I was super excited to photograph!

The Edison-Ford Winter Estates!!! A really cool historic place. I got there and got right to work! Shooting the little things as well as the interaction!

The guys were great and the girls were pro’s! Check them out! you’ll see.

Everyone had a blast. I shed a tear during M’s vows and laughed during A’s. The emotion was so clear… everyone with their smiling faces, children laughing and it didn’t hurt the sun shining and it was a gorgeous day.

After the ceremony we rocked out some amazing photos on the fig tree and the model T ….and headed over to the Royal Palm Yacht Club where the reception brought the house down!

This crew danced and danced and danced some more! I loved it!!!!!! absolutely adorable! The music was great, drinks were flowing and the food.. oh the food… Love how italians do it!

One or a couple of my favorite parts of the day were obviously the model T…. The location… and the food as you know… but I loved the moments on the dance floor! the jumping the getting down! the moon-walking… and the laughter

everywhere you look people were laughing and having a good time… NO coaching here folks.. this group did so much of this on their own… they made the day fun and refreshing… one more perk of the “job”

Enjoy their pics!

Lets start with the details

and this view… oh my… best rooms at The Indigo Hotel for Bridal Photography!

Right after I shot this image… this happened outside on the courthouse steps!

now a different take on a ring shot… no more on wood, or on the flowers, or twigs or leaves and stuff for a while! Because where DON’T you see that?

and a little ring shot collage…

now… back to the ladies…

M Looked Beautiful in her dress from Maggie Sottero…

Mom, Dad, and Grandma thought so too….

a fun view…

and one last spritz…

a few more of the boys …. while we waited for the brides ride to take her to “the show”

and then the model T showed up!!!

I loved the drivers attires! So appropriate for the wedding! Ralph at Model T chauffeur Services was great!

as I was taking this picture, M’s dad said I don’t know if I can look at her without crying!  It really touched my heart… *sigh*

on to the Estates…

where… the boys, and girls were waiting for me =)

The ladies were so casual until they realized I was snapping away…. lol

and the guys… had fun posing for me too…

boys will be boys… correction, men will be men!

now onto the cermony…

Here comes the Bride!! I love the look on M’s face as she took a deep breath before looking down the isle… it was a great moment…

NOW…..on to the bride and grooms portraits…

This group was soo much fun!!!!! PURE and GENUINE! I love catching off the cuff moments like this…. M in the background was just a bonus!

remember I said they brought the house down…. here’s why…

and last but not least…. I feel like this shot sums up the reception… they had an amazing time…

Thank you M and A for asking me to be a part of it all!!!! xx-A

Last But Not Least… To Sum up the day…

Inside the Actors Studio with K and J… Cleopatra Photography {You and Me} – Fort Myers Engagement Photographer

Hi Guys!!

Thank you so much for such a fun evening!

I hope you had a great time… I definately did, and can’t wait to photograph your wedding in the spring…

On my b-day I might add, so it’s a double special day!!

Tonight I met K and J at Love Boat Ice cream! A cute litte place I never even knew existed until they suggested it

(and I have been living in Ft. Myers for 8 years!!! how pathetic is that??)

So anyways, what a cute little joint with great treats! I can’t wait to bring my kids there to enjoy the home-made goodies!

We spent about 45 minutes taking in the sights and then headed down to Fort Myers Beach.

These two are such a cute couple! great smiles and definately know how to turn it on for the camera… my favorite kind of shoots!!  I was a little shocked when the previously blonde K showed up with this new number… maybe not new to her but new to me, and I actually had to do a double take to make sure it was her!

Full of smiles and laughs we got some great expressions and I have to say what a great set of photos we got guys!

I had a hard time choosing which ones I wanted to display on the blog seriously!! oh and that light at the end of our Ice cream session was killing it!!!!

I hope you enjoy the pics, and we will be in touch soon!!

J and A’s Engagement session… Cleopatra Photography {You and Me} Downtown Fort Myers Modern Engagement Photography

What a cute couple these two are huh?? They met me downtown bright and early this a.m., and drove all the way from the east coast!!

I was worried for a minute that it was gona be a washout, but we got lucky and as soon as I saw them pulling up, it started to clear up…just in time too because its pouring again! We whisked around the blocks and managed to grab some great shots! Thank you guys for agreeing to meet so early, and I wish you all the best of luck in the near future! Hope to see you again soon!

Enjoy your sneak peek!

What a beautiful bride Ms. A is going to make huh?

R and J’s wedding sneak peak… Cleopatra Photography { I Do} White orchid at the Oasis Fort Myers Modern Wedding Photography

Hi Everyone,
Here is a quick look at R and J’s wedding day.
We were running from the heat and rain the entire time, but as the day died down,
we were able to get a few great shots of the colorful sky and the beautiful couple.
For those of you who don’t know the bride and groom, these two were coming from out of state, so when I first met J, I just knew we were going to get along great!!
The same was true for all of her gorgeous sisters!
I had such a great time with all of you, and I wish you all the best of luck!
I look forward to designing your albums….
and If I am ever on Peachtree, I know what family to call for a great time!!!

Mr. and Mrs. H’s sneak peak…. Cleopatra Photography { I Do} Fort Myers Beach Pink Shell Wedding Photography

Hi Guys!! Thanks again for such a fun night last night!!! I hope you enjoyed yourselves. What a great sunset it turned out to be! I am so happy we nailed some of these photos because you deserved them…lol.. after standing there waiting for these shots, I was dead set on getting them…. and I’m glad you two had the patience to sit and wait with me! 😉

When I first met you two back in October, I knew right away you were going to be a fun couple… you were playful and full of smiles and I really enjoyed myself walking around with you two on Fort Myers beach. I’m not sure if you remember, but we weren’t as lucky with the sunset that day because it was pretty cloudy and suuupeeer windy on the point that evening… I remember hair flying everywhere lol… but as usual, you guys were true sports and made the best of it.

I got tons of raves about your engagement session photos and I know they will be pouring in about the wedding set as well… but I can’t take all the credit. wink wink.. the best photos come from peoples true emotions and watching two people interact that are in love make them priceless. It’s clear from your images, that you two are truly in love and it’s genuinely refreshing to see that.

“H” you made such a beautiful bride, and I loved the smiles I got from you all night long…

“J” you were so nervous getting ready it was a riot but I’m glad you wre able to relax and enjoy yourself…

and then there was Mr. “D”… the camera lover… lol.. he kept me laughing all night long

Anyhow, I cant wait to hear from you again (maybe in a year or so for a baby session ;), and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do.

Dont forget to forward your gallery to your email address book,  because I was getting lots of people asking when the pictures would be ready!!!

Best wishes, and I hope to see you soon.

For now, enjoy your sneak peek. a.k.a “The longest sneak peek to ever appear on my blog”
